Lighting Display Benefits Fire
Fighters' Burn Fund - 6771 Mayflower Drive in Richmond, BC Brad Keen's
house and yard are glowing with nine thousand lights and over twenty displays …
all in about 2600 feet of space. This is the 11th year of the display, and Keen
says that all donations received this year go directly to the BC Professional
Fire Fighters' Burn Fund. The display is open from 4:30 p.m. to 11 p.m. daily
until January 4.
Nature Comes to Light - Richmond Nature Park, 11851
Westminster Hwy. at No. 5 Road Numerous nature themed displays and 200,000
lights greet our guests as they take a 15 minute stroll along the board walk
through the Richmond Nature Park. Presented by the Richmond Kinsmen and Richmond
Firefighter's Society. Dates: Dec. 8 until Jan. 6, except Dec. 24, Dec. 25
and Dec. 31 Weekdays: 6:00 pm to 10:00 pm, Weekends: 5:00 pm to 10:00
pm Tickets: Suggested minimum donation $2 per person, $10 per family. More

Trains Benefits Spina Bifida and Hydrocephalus Association of BC 6133 -
132nd Street, Surrey, BC (Located between Highway #10 and 64th Avenue) Once
again, the Hoskins have opened up their backyard to the annual Hoskins Festival
of Lights. It is a "twinkling yard full of magic," with more than 50,000 lights,
neon signs, animated dolls and miniature trains winding through tunnels and
stations. The Festival of Lights is an experience that kids of all ages will
delight in. Every corner of the Hoskins' property is aglow with twinkling
lights. As you travel the wheelchair accessible brick path over the wooden
bridge, the exhilaration overcomes you and the spirit of Christmas rushes in --
just in time for the holiday. Free candy canes to kids of all ages. Hot
chocolate & glow sticks available. A must-see display. On the tour bus
circuit.

For 20 years, the magic of the season has been celebrated at Bright Nights
in Stanley Park. An estimated one million lights illuminate the park each night,
transforming the forest, the dozens of animated displays, the Stanley Park train
and the children's farmyard into a winter wonderland. And in the spirit of
giving, this fun family event is also a fundraiser for the BC Professional

Vancouver, BC The 2400 through 2900 blocks of Trinity will once again be a
blaze of festive lights again this Christmas. Cottage Hospice and Harbourview
Daycare will be the big winners. Anyone can vote for the block they feel does
the best job of lighting its street as well as for their favourite house (The
Peoples’ Choice Award) December 6, 2005 - January 3, 2005; 6:00 pm - 10:00 pm
