Texada Islang是整个海湾群岛中最大的一个岛，但人口密度最低。
岛上出产沙石及林木。渡轮码头旁就是一个沙石加工厂。
小岛上还有其他景点非常美。不过从Shelter Point再往岛的深处，就多为石子路。轿车去是能去，不过最好是四驱车。
今年没有往岛的深处跑，拿几张去年的照片充充数。
岛上还有很多鹿，途中常常能见到。

补充：Camping营地很大，有热水可洗澡。有一个餐厅供应快餐。
营地接受团体预订。个人不需要预订（大概是因为有足够的地方吧）

Single Sites:
$16.00 per night per camper unit in lower main and Bella Maria campground.
$8 per night per camper unit in both the lower main and Bella Maria campgrounds when washrooms with flush toilets are closed.

Residents over the age of sixty five (65) years shall be permitted to occupy a campsite for $2.00 per night per camper unit less than the above rates, i.e. $14 per night.

Group Sites:
Main Group Site:
$150 per night for groups of up to 10 camper units; $16 per night for each additional camper unit.
Bella Maria Group Site:
$100 per night for groups of up to 7 camper units; $16 per night for each additional camper unit.

GROUP SITE FEE REDUCTIONS
Youth groups with community, sports, service or religious affiliations shall be permitted to occupy any group campsite for 50% of the regular rate for that group site.

因为第二天打算赶前往Comox的头班渡轮，因此坐5:00的渡轮回到了Powell River。
夜宿Willingdon Beach Campsite。这个私人经营的Campsite条件不错。有热水可洗澡，厕所也还干净。价格从16.50到23元不等。有的Site还有电供应。从18到22是海边的Site，景色很美，但可能要早早预定才行。
