北美中文网报道：这个周末温哥华有两项大的活动，估计成千上万的人会涌上街头。
首先一项是印度裔的年度游行，名为Vaisakhi
Parade的活动，它将在星期六上午11点开始。
这个活动在Ross Stree的印度锡克教寺庙开始，西行至Marine
Drive，北行至Main Street，东行至49th Avenue，南行至Fraser Street，最后往东到57th
Avenue再折返寺庙。
省长Gordon Campbel将在活动期间发表一项特别的公告，就是在明街Main
Street夹50街的地方兴建一座“印度门”。
另外一项活动是在星期天，大约有超过5万6千人将聚集在市中心进行一年一度的Sun
Run跑步活动，因为这一活动，周日这些时间里下面的道路将封路：
